Making people happy is my job.

And I think it’s the best job in the world because I spend my days helping people to realise their dreams. Who hasn’t wished for a little place by the sea to escape to?

I cover every step of the journey that people make towards buying their holiday home, from initial interest through to making sure they are loving their new holiday home.

We each look after our own leads and, every day, I will make 40-50 calls to people on my list, to see if we can get them over to the island.

About 3 or 4 times a week I will have some lovely visitors to show around the park – my absolute favourite part of the job. After a coffee, we hop into the buggy and I take them for a guided tour. If they like what they see, we have a chat about what they are looking for in a holiday home. On the best days, they decide to buy!

It’s sales but not as most people know it. For me, it’s putting a smile on people’s faces when they take those keys off me.

I’d say to do this job you need to love dealing with people while also being able to work on your own – there’s no point waiting for someone to tell you what to do and you certainly won’t be working from a script. It’s full-on but it’s great fun too.

I must dash…unless…can I interest you in a caravan with a lovely sea view…
