I started working for Away Resorts as a Business Intelligence Developer in June 2018 and even though I’ve been here for just 10 months, I’ve seen the team here at Central Support, Hemel, grow significantly.
A day in the world of data is demanding, yet rewarding. I’m heavily involved in creating reports and dashboards from multiple sources of data, making them much simpler and quicker to read. This can be anything from individual park performance, people data or holiday home sales leads.
You may have also heard about the new GDPR regulations that happened last May? It’s my job to help ensure that all our customer databases are compliant.
I get great satisfaction out of knowing that I’ve made someone’s reporting life here at Away Resorts easier. It’s brilliant to see that so many people are signing up to view our business intelligence reports and knowing that myself, and my manager Mohammed, have been able to get everyone excited over data is amazing!
