I am proud to tell my friends and family that I work for Away Resorts; it’s such a great company.
I started with Away Resorts in 2008 when it was just a few of us. It’s great that it has grown and yet still feels like a family. I now look after holiday home sales marketing and my main job is to generate leads for our park sales teams.
There’s no typical day, but that’s one of the many things I like about my job norsk-apotek.com. It might be strategic planning one day, followed by pulling together a tactical sales push the next.
A lot of my time goes into creating campaigns to make people aware that their dream holiday home is waiting for them. This can be print ads, email marketing, newspaper inserts, maintaining the website – anything that brings in leads.
I love getting out of the office and back to the frontline of sales, so I’m often to be found walking into shops and businesses to build relationships and leave leaflets with them, visiting local attractions, or manning the holiday home sales stand at shows.
I look after everything around holiday home ownership so that the sales advisers can concentrate on their customers and helping them to make their holiday home dreams a reality.
If you are thinking of applying for a position here, do it. You work hard but you are a name, not a number, a person; not a resource. And the benefits are great – not least the discounts on your holidays!
