My name is Sophie and I’ve been a part of the Away Resorts family since August 2017. I first joined the team at the Contact Centre as sales advisor and since then I’ve been offered two promotions where I am now Team Leader!
A day in the life of working in the Contact Centre varies. Other than answering calls from our lovely holidaymakers, I’m involved in digging deeper into the analytics side of the calls, I look at ways of upselling holidays and upgrades, take the reins on live chat and ensure the team here are happy with their work.
I love having a good problem to solve and thanks to our internal communication network, it’s great to see many people across all six parks appreciate what you do. The Away Resorts family are incredibly supportive of one another!
It’s even more rewarding to hear our guests excitement over booking their holiday! We’re actually in the process of investing in an improved telephone system so the service we’re going to be providing is going to keep getting better and better!
